TRAINING VOLUME.

For each set, volume load is reps multiplied by external weight. Totals combine the sets entered, so only compare like-for-like sessions.

Volume load excludes bodyweight unless you explicitly enter a comparable load. It does not adjust for effort, rest, exercise mechanics or range of motion. Nothing is saved or uploaded.

UNDERSTANDING VOLUME

WHAT IS VOLUME LOAD?

Can I compare different exercises?

You can calculate totals, but comparing load between different machines, exercises or bodyweight movements may be misleading. For trends, compare the same exercises and consistent techniques.

Does higher volume always mean better progress?

No. Volume load is one descriptive training metric, not proof of hypertrophy or recovery quality. Training intensity, effort and consistency also matter.
